About Deacon Vic
Vic Costa was ordained a deacon for the Diocese of Rockville Centre in 2002. Throughout his ministry he has served at St. Raphael Parish. He has been involved with numerous parish ministries which include, hospital ministry, the care of the homebound, Children's Liturgy of the Word, co-ordinator of CYO and scouts and he is a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He and his wife Linda began the Blanket Ministry. As a deacon, he serves at the Liturgy by reading the Gospel and preaching . Deacon Vic administers the Sacrament of Marriage outside the mass, administers the Sacrament Baptism and presides at wake services. Deacon Vic and his "bride" Linda have been married for over 50 years and have two children and three grandchildren.
