Couples who are preparing to be married at St. Raphael Church need the support and assistance of the parish.
Pre Cana Ministers:
Couples preparing for marriage are required to attend Pre-Cana sessions. Trained married meet with engaged couples over several sessions in an effort to help them more fully understand the commitment they will be making. Parishioners who have been married in the Church and have a desire to share their faith and life experiences with those preparing for marriage are encouraged to become part of the Pre-Cana ministry.
FOCCUS:
(Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding Study) trained FOCCUS couples meet with engaged couples to explore feedback from a previously administered inventory.
Wedding Rehearsal Ministers:
Assistance is needed in working with couples as they near their wedding day The Wedding Rehearsal is where the couple with the bridal party and the families see how the ritual of the Sacrament comes to full manifestation.
